The Media Planner & Buyer is responsible for the smooth delivery of campaign media advertising for clients across a number of regions.  They are also responsible for developing and managing the output of media strategy plans based on research and campaign briefs as a service directly to our clients as well as client facing colleagues within the agency.

The Role 

 As a Media Planner & Buyer you will; 

  • Coordinate and manage all advertising requests from your portfolio of clients  
  • Analyse market research to deliver channel plans across TV, radio, outdoor, print and digital 
  • Implement and execute strategic and tactical marketing plans in order to generate leads and retain existing clients 
  • Plan, negotiate, quote, organise and book online and offline media to optimize and monitor campaign performance  
  • Co-ordinate the production of all print and digital collateral 
  • Be a master of the Google suite of products and social channels – programmatic, display, video, native, email and mobile 
  • Develop relationships with relevant media partners 
  • Manage jobs to timelines and provide exceptional client service 
  • Act as brand guardian, ensuring that all material developed by the agency adhere to client brand guidelines 
  • Build a strategic partnership with our clients based on dedication, a desire to go above and beyond and a commitment to service excellence 
  • Collaborate with the Account Managers to implement campaign presentations and analysis as well as assist in client worth and new business 


Your Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an agency  
  • Proficient with Google suite of products and Google certified 
  • Solid experience in advertising across social channels 
  • Experience in coordinating the production of print and digital collateral
  • Digital dashboard reporting capabilities are highly desirable
  • Thorough understanding of the media landscape in Australia
  • Exposure to research tools such as Roy Morgan, Nielsen, Ad Relevance etc 
  • Excellent communication and client facing skills 
  • Demonstrable stakeholder management skills with the ability to easily build rapport 
  • An impeccable eye for detail and excellent administration skills 
  • Be highly planned and organised 
  • Accommodate east coast clients by working flexible hours 
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint 

Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to research tools such as Roy Morgan, Nielsen, Ad Relevance etc
