VIKTOR Lite

VIKTOR is the national volunteering database developed by Volunteering WA and endorsed by all of the State and Territory volunteering peak bodies across Australia. It is a volunteer recruitment system that connects users to a national database where volunteer involving organisations and volunteer resource centres can post opportunities and find the right volunteers. VIKTOR Lite was recently introduced to provide a more effective single page position form based solution for managing volunteering opportunities – a new and improved volunteer recruitment system. It makes advertising, recruiting and retaining volunteers easier. NeonLogic were engaged to design and develop a series of instructional videos, that provide users with an overview of what VIKTOR Lite is and why volunteer involving organisations would use it, and give instructions on how to complete specific tasks within the platform.

NeonLogic created a suite of video content, including an Introduction to VIKTOR Lite, five System Overview Instructional videos and four Learn More videos about the different types of volunteering opportunities. The videos are inclusive, accommode all levels of digital literacy and assist volunteer involving organisations by providing them with clear directions for ‘self-help’ when using the national volunteer recruitment platform.

To celebrate the launch of Viktor Lite and bring to life the development of the platform, NeonLogic created the ‘Viktor Lite’ character based on the classic Professor Victor Frankenstein. We created a modern design aesthetic using customised graphics and animations. Seamless storytelling and visually friendly platform instructions resulted in engaging explainer videos that support new and existing users. NeonLogic developed the tagline, ‘Get advertising. Get recruiting. Get VIKTOR Lite. Volunteer recruitment made easy.’
