Mary Curran
Business Director - Employment Marketing
With a career spanning over 25 years, Mary is a highly skilled communications and marketing professional. Mary has worked across the advertising, government, broadcasting, retail and employment industry sectors and joined NeonLogic nine years ago.
As the Business Director for the Australian Government contract, Mary led a team of strategists, designers, media planners and buyers responsible for the delivery of design and advertising solutions for the whole of the Australian Government.
Mary manages clients including; Local Government NSW, ACT Government and Regional Australia Institute.
Jean Davenport
Media Strategist and Team Leader
Focused on delivering exceptional client service, Jean has worked across the public sector in Wellington since returning from London in 2016 where she worked with clients such as RAF, Transport for London, Tate Museum, Bank of England and Surrey Police.
Jean has extensive media expertise and acts as a one point of contact for clients across media, digital, social and creative.
Emily Durham
Marketing Solutions Director
Emily joined NeonLogic in 2018 as a Marketing Solutions Manager and in 2019 she was promoted to manage NeonLogic’s Auckland agency. Emily is responsible for overseeing all projects and campaigns, and developing new clients across corporate and public sector organisations.
Whether delivering a website, employer brand, video production or marketing campaign, Emily’s knowledge of the talent attraction market and drive for success ensures that clients benefit from innovative solutions that deliver results.
Samantha Forrest
Marketing Solutions Executive
Samantha joined the Auckland team in May 2022. She provides clients with support and assistance in delivering complete marketing solutions.
Samantha has a Bachelor of Communication Studies from Auckland University of Technology majoring in Advertising and minoring in Public Relations and enjoys working with clients to deliver successful marketing outcomes.
Suzie Grdanovski
Head of Agency - Australia
Suzie has over 22 years’ experience in marketing and management of key clients, working on major brands across a variety of sectors including real estate, education, government, financial services, retail and consumer.
With a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, majoring in management and law and extensive hands-on project experience, Suzie is able to effectively provide insight and direction across diverse aspects of NeonLogic’s national operation.
As a business and project lead, she is personally passionate about delivering marketing and advertising solutions that deliver commercial and social outcomes for her clients. Her ability to understand key marketing and communication challenges, combined with a strategic approach and an effective communication style means that she is able to influence at all levels.
Suzie challenges her team to continuously innovate with every new brief to achieve new benchmarks.
Nina Hegarty
Advertising Executive
Nina holds a Bachelor of Communications, majoring in Communication Strategy and Practice from the University of Canterbury.
Since graduating, she has gained experience in the FMCG Beverage industry working as the Sales and Marketing Coordinator for Boring Oat Milk and The Apple Press.
As an advertising executive at Neonlogic, Nina aims to provide effective and efficient solutions for the online and print needs of her clients.
Brooke Hughes
Account Executive
Brooke has completed both a Bachelor’s degree in Design Innovation, minoring in Marketing, and a Master’s degree in Design Innovation from Victoria University of Wellington. Brooke has a keen interest in communication design and marketing and is dedicated to achieving optimal outcomes for clients.
Andrzej Kowalski
Digital Producer
Andrzej is an experienced Digital Producer with more than 15years experience working in Digital and Media agencies. He has worked across international and national agencies across product builds from websites through to apps, all the way to banner ad production. Having worked as a head of production and senior producer level, Andrzej has fantastic experience executing agile and lean project management and helping deliver strategic media campaign plans. Andrzej also has strong commercial negotiation skills, combined with budget and resource forecasting, and project delivery skills. In addition, Andrzej has more than five years experience setting up and managing eCommerce stores.
Rania Michaels
Business Manager
Rania is an experienced marketing communications professional with over 14 years’ experience in agency account management and project management.
Results-driven and innovative, she has a passion for developing impactful creative campaigns as well as delivering exceptional client service. Rania has a proven ability to manage integrated marketing campaigns across both traditional and digital channels and for diverse industries including retail, entertainment, Government, real estate and financial services.
Joining NeonLogic as Business Manager in early 2022, Rania is responsible for managing the relationships and end-to-end marketing campaigns for clients.
Costa Lazos
Regional Creative Director
A talented and innovative designer, Costa is a graduate from the Western Australian School of Art, Design and Media. With a career spanning over 25 years, Costa is highly skilled in print, multimedia, television and radio advertising.
While working in London, Costa coordinated the artwork and design for major clients including the Victoria and Albert Museum, Neff and Vauxhall Motors. He joined NeonLogic in 2005 and has embraced all creative disciplines from brand identity to directing full multi-media campaigns involving TV, press, online and print.
Costa works with corporate businesses, government, property sector, high-volume retail and the arts, and is an integral part of the team providing strategic creative advice to NeonLogic offices nationally.
Serena Marston
Marketing Solutions Director
Serena has over 20 years’ experience in employment marketing and providing marketing and communication solutions. Her role involves developing business strategies for clients across a wide variety of sectors but in particular Government, working with many large government agencies.
Serena is responsible for all new and existing business in the Wellington market and managing a team of Advertising Executives, empowering them to deliver an exceptional service that exceeds client expectations.
Angela McEntyre
Strategy and Research Manager
Angela began her career in advertising over 18 years ago and has built upon her experience in all facets of the industry in New Zealand, Australia and the UK, including time in agencies and on the media side. Angela is passionate about client service and relished her time managing our Christchurch agency. She now has a national focus, in a research and strategy capacity, particularly around Employer Branding.
Greer Hooker
Advertising Executive
Greer has completed her degree in Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Marketing and minoring in International Business from Victoria University of Wellington. Greer has experience in the government relations/communications sector working as an Executive Assistant and pursuing social media marketing.
As an Advertising Executive at Neonlogic, Greer began her role in early 2023 and quickly adapted to the role. She works with a variety of clients to guarantee they get the best quality digital and print adverts through an efficient and effortless process.
David Morrison B Bus (Hons)
CEO & Managing Director
David joined NeonLogic in 2003 and since then he has played an integral role in the growth and evolution of the agency.
David has led NeonLogic through several milestone initiatives including the acquisition of a Perth-based design agency, the strategic investment in an innovative video and technology-based start-up (Shootsta), the introduction of an in-house television and video production business (now Showrunner Productions), the successful pitch and subsequent implementation of a global recruitment advertising contract for a major mining company, and the introduction of NeonLogic into Master Media Agency agreements with both state and national Governments.
In March 2011, David was appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. In March 2018 he was appointed Executive Director to oversee the consolidation of NeonLogic’s Western Australian operations and other investments. He was re-appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director in November 2018.
David is also Managing Director of Showrunner Productions and was previously NeonLogic’s representative on the Board of Shootsta Holdings Pty Ltd in which NeonLogic held a 15% investment.
He is a hands-on strategic marketer, delivering major client projects spanning brand development, digital strategy, television production and employee value proposition development and implementation.
David holds a Bachelor of Business Degree from Curtin University with Honours in Marketing, and has also been a sessional lecturer and tutor at Edith Cowan University in Advertising and Consumer Audiences and Integrated Marketing Communications.
With a passion for, and strong commitment to the community sector, David maintains voluntary board positions with Volunteering Western Australia as Chairperson, and Meerilinga Young Children’s Foundation where he serves on the Board of Governors as Treasurer. He is also a member of Santa Maria College’s College Advisory Council.
Emma Oloi
Copywriter
Emma creates compelling written content for marketing collateral, websites and social media channels, including social posts, blogs and web pages.
Emma’s expertly chosen words combine to tell a story that engages the heart and mind of the reader. She works quickly to understand the brief, and what it is you want your audience to do and feel. Her writing adapts to the required tone of voice, and her attention to detail ensures it remains consistent where multiple platforms are being used, or a variety of collateral is being produced.
As well as being an in-house copywriter, Emma has worked in client service roles so understands the importance of relationship management – from consistently delivering on expectations, to meeting agreed deadlines.
Emma has experience writing for a wide variety of businesses, across the private and public sector in both New Zealand and Australia.
Renae Pearse
Business Executive
Renae is a marketing professional with in-depth knowledge of both digital and traditional media. Since joining NeonLogic just over three years ago, she has worked across both the media team and more recently the client services team.
Renae delivers exceptional customer service, resulting in lasting client relationships. She has strong skills in organisation and time management, the ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines and make decisions based on the clients’ overall goals and objectives.
Renae provides media planning and buying communication solutions and social media management, as well as creating effective creative and strategic solutions for both corporate and government clients.
Catherine Spiller
Head of Business New Zealand
Catherine joined Neonlogic in 2001, and today she oversees NeonLogic’s New Zealand operations with a focus on innovation, business development and NeonLogic’s strategic direction. She is also the senior lead on a diverse range of key clients.
Complimenting her background in business development and client management, Catherine has extensive expertise in marketing, branding and digital communications.
Catherine’s leadership ensures that NeonLogic remains at the forefront of the constantly evolving media and advertising industry landscape. She provides strategic advice and the development of innovative solutions for projects.
Catherine is a member of the Institute of Directors and on the Board of the Fantail Network, a not-for-profit organisation that has been designed to support, connect and enable women in business with a focus on technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.
Frances Sheriff
Marketing Solutions Executive
Frances holds a Bachelor of Communications, majoring in marketing and minoring in linguistics from Wellington’s Massey University.
Frances has experience working in fundraising and alumni co-ordination in the education sector, and in 2021 she became a trustee for New Horizons for Women Trust: Hine Kahukura. A trust that supports education, innovation, and research which benefits women.
As an Advertising Executive at NeonLogic, Frances is a key point of contact for clients and provides effective advice and solutions to meet their needs.
Laura Tait
Marketing Solutions Manager
Laura joined NeonLogic in 2019, delivering media campaigns and projects for clients across the Auckland region. With a background in media and travel advertising in both New Zealand and Australia, Laura is experienced in working with a broad range of businesses across industries including health, transport and education. Focusing on delivering complete marketing solutions, Laura’s wide knowledge of the media landscape and can-do attitude fosters positive, ongoing relationships with our clients.
Caroline Wentworth
Senior Business Director
Caroline is an experienced marketing and account management professional with over 15 years’ experience both locally and globally, working with clients across the public and private sectors including large corporates, property, retail, government, not-for-profit and health.
Graduating with a BA Honours Degree in English Literature, Caroline has significant experience in team leadership, strategic thinking, brand experience and identity, as well as long-term client relationship building, and the development and management of content creation for social and digital strategies.
Her ability to understand and identify business goals, and build collaborative working relationships to lead marketing projects that deliver results, sets her apart.
Caroline oversees NeonLogic’s Western Australian office as well as a portfolio of key accounts.
Stephen Williams
Director of Strategy & Digital
Stephen boasts an extensive career over two decades within premier advertising, brand, and digital agencies. He has successfully executed projects for a diverse array of renowned organisations, including Qantas, Air New Zealand, Save the Children, Smirnoff, Fairfax, the Australian Government, and Hyundai.
Stephen specialises in crafting foundational strategic directions for organisations. From comprehensive brand strategies to marketing strategies and specific channel strategies, such as web and social media.
Grounded in UX principles and contemporary marketing methodologies, he consistently aims to elevate and optimize the customer journey across today’s dynamic marketing channels. He firmly believes that the essence of effective marketing lies in articulating the right message to the right audience in the right spaces.
In his role with NeonLogic Agency, Stephen collaborates with clients across Australia and New Zealand, and steers the agency’s strategic and digital initiatives.
